Admission Process

Securing a place at St. Teresa's School is a straightforward process. Follow the steps below and contact the school office for any assistance.

Step one
Collect the Form
Visit the school office at Karbala Road, Cossimbazar Raj, Berhampore to collect the admission form. Forms may also be requested via email at st2023teresa@gmail.com.

Step two
Fill & Submit
Parents and guardians must fill in the admission form with utmost accuracy. No subsequent changes will be permitted after submission. Attach all required documents carefully.

Step three
Meet the Principal
New candidates must be introduced personally to Sr. Jessy (Principal) by the guardian who will be responsible for the child's regularity, conduct, and fees.

Step four
Entrance Assessment
Candidates will be assessed on the syllabus of the class immediately below that to which they seek admission. This ensures placement in the right class for the child's learning.

Step five
Transfer Certificate
A candidate who has attended a recognised school may be admitted only with a Transfer Certificate (TC) from the school last attended. This is mandatory for all such admissions.

Step six
Final Decision
The Principal, along with the special committee, is the final authority in granting admission. Their decision is final and binding on all. Confirmation will be communicated to parents.
Important guidelines

Admission Rules

    Applications for admission are accepted without distinction of caste and creed. All children are welcome in our school family.
  • 2
    At the time of Nursery and LKG admission, the original Birth Certificate must be produced from the Municipality or Panchayat.
  • 3
    Admissions to other classes will be taken against chance vacancies at the beginning of the School Year only.
  • 4
    Parents and guardians are asked to fill in the admission forms with utmost accuracy. No subsequent changes will be permitted after submission.
  • 5
    New candidates must be introduced personally to the Principal by the guardian responsible for the child's regularity, conduct, and fees.

What to bring

Documents Required

Birth Certificate
Original birth certificate issued by Municipality or Panchayat. Mandatory for Nursery and LKG admissions.

Transfer Certificate (TC)
Required for candidates who have previously attended any recognised school. Must be from the last school attended.

Passport-size Photographs
Recent passport-size photographs of the student. Exact number to be confirmed at the school office.

Completed Admission Form
Filled with utmost accuracy by the parent or guardian. No changes permitted after submission.

Address Proof
Valid proof of residential address of the parent or guardian. Aadhaar card or utility bill accepted.

Previous Year Report Card
Mark sheets or progress report from the previously attended school, required for classes above Nursery.
Financial information

School Fees

Fee payment deadline
Fees must be paid on or before the 15th of every month to avoid late charges.
Late fee charge
A late fee of Rs. 50/- per month will be charged cumulatively if fees are not paid by the due date.
  • School fees cover twelve calendar months and must be paid as indicated in the school calendar. No reduction is made for holidays or broken periods.
  • Students are liable to be charged full fees as long as their names are officially on the roll. Fees once paid will not be refunded.
  • A fee defaulter may not be allowed to attend the class if fees are not cleared for consecutive two months.
  • Fees for holiday months must be paid in advance before the school closes. All dues of the first session must be cleared before the Half-Yearly Examination.
  • Second session fees up to March must be cleared by mid-January before the Final Examination, failing which students may be debarred from appearing.
  • The School reserves the right to increase the fees at any time of the year if an increment is considered necessary.
How to Pay Fees

Fees must be paid at the SBI Cossimbazar Branch through SBI collect. This is the primary payment method for all school fees.

Swipe Machine / Debit Card
Fees may also be paid at the school office using the swipe machine with a Debit Card. Credit cards are not accepted.

QR Code Payment
QR code-based payments are accepted at the school office. Scan and pay conveniently during office hours.
